What is type2 hair?
There are three main types of wavy hair. Type 2 is the medium hair type. It is neither completely straight nor completely curly. It is neither too dry nor too oily. You can tell if your hair is type 2 by the curl pattern.knowing your hair type is very important if you want to choose a suitable glueless wig from Findingdream.
Type 2 hair is usually referred to as wavy. There are three different sub-categories of this hair type: 2A, 2B and 2C. Type 2A hair is characterised by soft waves. The waves are slightly looser compared to other hair types in this category. “Popsugar stylist Cynthia Alvarez says: “Type 2A hair can best be described as a soft S-shape throughout the length of the hair. It tends to be flat on the scalp, very fine and thin, making it very easy to straighten.”

Shoulder length hair
We know we’ve said it too many times, but we don’t care. The basis of any good 2A hairstyle is a shoulder-length cut. They add fullness to straight hairstyles and accentuate fine waves. Let the Arizona Muse be your muse. Her shoulder-length tresses are priceless.
Since hair tends to loosen up, strengthen it with a side ponytail. Amanda Seyfried gave her wavy hair volume with a deep side-swept ponytail. Plus, everyone looks great with a side parting.
Use shampoo and conditioner to give your hair volume
You can use texturizing sprays and styling mousses to simulate hair. However, in the end, heat styling products only damage the hair further. Not to mention that heavy styling products cause unwanted build-up in the hair, making it even looser.
What is type 3 hair?
To find out the right type of curls, you don’t just have to curl your curls. Curl type gives you information on which products are favorites for your hair and which should be avoided. It also determines how best to use curl-enhancing products.
Firstly, when the hair is damp, 3a looks like deep waves of curly hair. Conversely, wet hair 3b and 3c retains curls. Secondly, 3a curls are less voluminous than 3b and 4c hair. This means that they are less frizzy and curly for all types of curly and wavy hair. However, this does not mean that 3a hair is completely protected from external influences. Moisture, pollution and UV rays can cause hair to go into SOS mode. Unlike loose 3a curls, 3b curls are ringlet-shaped and voluminous. Each curl is the same width as a tapered candlestick. Because type 3b curls are relatively dense and flexible, this type of hair becomes very wrinkled when it goes from wet to dry.
Unless you chemically treat your 3c curls to keep them straight, there is no easy way to achieve frizz-free curls. As with any other long-lasting hairstyle, it’s best to learn how to work with your hair’s natural structure, finding products that provide the right moisture and curl expression.
3A: Connor says that wavy hair is S-shaped and curly hair is round. Type 3A hair is the loosest of the three curl types, and its perimeter is like chalk on pavement, says Connors.
3B: Your curls are tighter than Type 3A, and their volume is the size of a pencil, says Conners. 3C: Your cochleas are tight, and their volume is pencil-like, says Conners. Imagine rotating curls.

Use a light moisturizer when you get out of the shower
After showering, use a lightweight but moisturizing product to add volume and definition but avoid dry waves. Some days straight hair is much easier than curly hair – just shampoo, condition, rinse and repeat. But no hair type is perfect. Look on the bright side: 3a hair has big curls that don’t need curling tongs or a blow-dryer.
You don’t need frizz-free curls or even hairspray to get curls on the second (or even third) day.
Curls that last longer than after the first wash are not 3a hair dream. Here’s what to do:
Step 1: Wash your hair on wash day (or recovery day) and gently detangle to remove excess water and encourage curl formation. Then apply your styling product of choice.
Step 2: Rinse hair to absorb excess water, but do not press down on curls to avoid the risk of frizz caused by towel rubbing. If you’re new to washing your hair, read our in-depth lesson on washing your hair. Afterwards, always comb your hair to dissolve any product residue.
Step 3: Before you go to bed at night, style your hair with pineapple. This protective hairstyle keeps curls in place by setting hair in a loose ponytail in a high position. This way, curls are less likely to tangle or get messy in bed.
Step 4: When you wake up, detach your hair from the ponytail. Check in the mirror to see if a correction is needed. If so, spray hair lightly with a hard mist or a homemade mixture of water and conditioner.
Custom hair care products are also recommended. Ultra-lightweight conditioners that moisturize and smooth curls. For maximum curl definition, we recommend adding a “Curl Definition” goal. Apply directly to damp hair after showering to help detangle hair.
If you have type 3 hair, you don’t have to forgo color altogether. Instead, you should reduce the number of treatments. If you’re used to getting more than one treatment at a time, such as dyeing or chemical straightening, you may choose to get just one treatment to get healthier, frizz-free hair. If you colour your hair, it’s best to allow 8-10 weeks between treatments to minimize the effects of the chemicals on your hair.
What is type 4 hair?
4A: “Your curls are very, very tight and S-shaped,” says Connors.
4B: “Your curls are more curly and more Z-shaped than Type 4A hair,” says Connors.
4C: “Your hair pattern is very irregular, not curly or frizzy,” says Connors. Similar to type 4B, but less pronounced.
Type 4A people have thick, bouncy, S-shaped hair with a perimeter about the size of a frizzy one; see Megan Tea’s study texture here. If you like to wash and condition your hair, you can let it grow out more often and accentuate the texture of the waves with soft, smooth strands.4b has sharp corners in the hair, making it difficult to distribute the oil throughout the fibers, which naturally leads to a lack of moisture. As a result, hair becomes dry and prone to frizz.
Due to its very dense curl structure, type 4c is susceptible to curls, knots and clumps. It is the most sensitive of all natural hair types and is prone to breakage. People with type 4c also suffer from extreme dryness and shrinkage.
Type 4c hair should therefore be kept as far away as possible from heat styling and chemical treatments. Very strong hair should be treated with rich moisturizing products, such as hair masks, to replenish the cuticle. This makes the hair less frizzy and shiny. Moisturizing products can also weigh down bundles and subtle hair, temporarily lengthening 4c.
How can I take care of my 4c hair?
Avoid sulphates and parabens
Between washes, lightly moisturize and refresh your hair as often as possible with a shower or spray. You can also choose a moisturizing hair spray to further nourish your hair.
Comb your hair thoroughly
It helps to wash your hair before detangling it. Here’s how.
Partly comb your hair from roots to ends before washing. Alternatively, you can use a simple conditioner or hair mask.
Use your fingers or a wide-toothed comb to slowly move the hair strands to loosen tangles; leave on for at least 30 minutes.
Dry hair thoroughly
Once the moisture is gone, let it dry naturally. Alternatively, you can prevent frizz and enhance curls.
If you’re worried about curls becoming flat, opt for products with lighter ingredients, such as jojoba oil or sweet almond oil. However, heavier ingredients such as coconut oil and shea butter are suitable for curls that are very dry.
