The IIT JEE (Joint Entrance Examination) is one of the country’s most prestigious exams. Students are evaluated for admission to several engineering colleges using this examination. As a result, students must thoroughly prepare for the exam. The more dedicated they are, the more easily they will pass the exam.

The exam attracts students from all over the country. As a result, it is equally difficult and demanding. Your hard work, on the other hand, will always triumph. So, come begin your journey by gaining a better grasp of the examination.

The JEE Main Examination and JEE Advanced Examination are the two parts of the exam. The first level exam is significantly easier than the second. If you pass the first level, you will be eligible to take the JEE Advanced Exam. Which prominent college you will go will be determined by your performance on the JEE Advanced.

The JEE Main is an online exam that covers the areas of Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. It has a total of 75 questions, each of which is worth four points. The question paper has both MCQ and non-MCQ type questions, with the former receiving negative marks (MCQ Questions).

JEE Advanced is also offered in an online format, with two three-hour papers. The topic of the subjects is also consistent, however, the pattern of the question paper changes from time to time.

    • NCERT

The NCERT Textbooks will serve as the exam’s base. In the textbooks, each idea is conceptualized and discussed clearly and simply.

The majority of pupils begin by reading guides and other materials. NCERT textbooks, on the other hand, are always the best. Every topic you read will have a basic outline in it. A thorough examination of the NCERT textbooks can be extremely beneficial. In addition, around 60% to 70% of the questions come from textbooks. As a result, you can build on this foundation to achieve your objective of passing the JEE Main Examination.

    • An eagerness to learn

Not everything you learned was correct, and some notions may seem contradictory to what you already knew and thought. Make an effort to learn more and to educate yourself on whatever you study. You may have to unlearn, relearn, or even start from scratch at times. Any of these paths, however, will never be obstructed by an open mind to learning.

Remember that memorizing every answer will not help you win. Study, practice, and revise the concepts.

    • Multiple Ways to Answer a Single Question

Every question will have a specific answer, but the journey to that answer will vary depending on the methods used. As a result, make sure you practice solving a single problem in various methods. Make an effort to practice with as many different approaches as possible. This will make it easier to learn new approaches because we already know the solution.

Occasionally, the question paper will include questions that focus on a specific method application. You will not have a problem with this issue if you use a variety of ways.

    • Organizing your time

Time is the only thing that cannot be replaced, so make the most of it. Make timetables with suitable chapter and topic divisions while studying. Make sure you take breaks and time for yourself to stay healthy. Try to stick to this schedule. Also, remember that it’s acceptable if something goes up or down; we’re all humans, so it’s likely to happen.

Another thing to keep in mind is to simulate the exam by practicing using a question paper. Set correct timers and try to answer as many questions as possible within the allotted time. This will help you understand how long each section takes. As a result, properly dividing the time for each question or segment of the exam will be easier.

    • Revision should be done properly

It is critical to revise well for any exam you take. Revise after finishing a chapter or a topic by looking over the information again, practice questions from previous year’s question papers, and so on. While studying, jotting down significant points can make the process go more smoothly.

Understand the topics or chapters on which you require further advice while revising. As a result, attempt to concentrate more on the topics in which you are lacking. Following this strategy can help you excel in practically any subject you study.

    • Mock Tests can help you prepare

Taking practice tests before the real exam will help you prepare even more for it. It will provide insight into the types of questions that will be asked on the exam. Also, as previously noted, sample examinations can assist you in dividing your time between sections and questions. As a result, it might assist you in effectively managing your time for the examination.

Many websites provide important sources for the exam. Chapterwise Important Questions for JEE Main is an example. Make use of such resources for your study.

    • The Best Sources of Information

Using the best study resources is also a fundamental and crucial stage in preparing for the exam. If the study materials you select do not provide sufficient information on the topics, your entire preparation may be jeopardized. With correct expertise, choose guides, reference books, and question papers. Trusted websites and sources can provide answers to important questions.

    • Seek advice

Taking aid will never make you weaker, rather it will make you stronger. As a result, make sure to seek assistance from your teachers, seniors who have taken the examinations, friends, and others. Collaboration with another individual can make it easier to learn more things. You will be able to grasp more knowledge and understand the test process better if you discuss it with others.

Teaching someone else about what you’ve learned might also help it stick in your mind. So, while you’re getting support, attempt to pass on what you’ve learned.

    • Maintain your health

When studying, remember to look after yourself. In order to maintain your health, you must eat well and sleep well. Your mental health is just as important as physical health, therefore try not to mess up with it. As a result, remember to take frequent breaks and enjoy your time.

    Good luck with your exam!
